About Us

Fig. No. 1:  The front of our house, Localita' Montanina 15,
located in the borgo of Valuberti.  We named it Casa della
Luna Piena, because it seemed that every significant event in
our lives spent here and the resurrected life of this old farm
building happened on a full moon.  The house sits in the
middle of the borgo, surrounded by strade vicinali (little
streets).  

Fig. No. 2:  The rear of Casa della Luna Piena.  The steps lead to the rear terrace.  The
beam (over the door)  will hold up one end of a trellis that spans the depth of the
terrace.  The trellis members are straight and true chestnut trunks cut by our neighbor,
Dante.
